Argosy will be showcasing the latest addition to its product range that allow for more efficient operations and a reduction in cost and complexity in the live studio production and outside broadcast environments on its stand at BES New Delhi (stand number 12).  Products being demonstrated by Argosy for the first time in India will include the company’s new Intelligent MDU (IMDU), new additions to its audio patch panel range, the latest rack-mounted fibre tray as well as Ghielmetti’s high performance CSF series audio patch panels.

BES 2014 will see the inaugural showing of Argosy’s IMDU in India.  The IMDU is a web-based mains distribution unit housed in a 19” 1RU rack mounted chassis. It is designed to provide control, monitoring and configuration of the 12 programmable sequential IEC outputs. The front panel is made from extruded aluminum finished in black with a wide clip-on designation strip for clear marking.

Suitable for AES/ABU applications Argosy’s new audio panels are available in a number of configurations. Utilising BPO connectors for audio patching, these units can be supplied pre-wired to order, with a number of different of termination options. Un-wired and pre-wired panels utilise jacks with offset earth-lug for ease of bussing.  Complete with lacing bar, theses robust panels are manufactured from an aluminium alloy extrusion, and come complete with high visibility clip-on designation strips.

The Ghielmetti CSF audio patch panels are a high performance alternative to a traditional Bantam patch panel. CSF panels offer exceptional cross talk performance as well as unique normalling features together with self-cleaning jacks. The CSF panel is now available with an Edac E3 interface which removes the requirement for soldering when installing the panel as all I/O cable are now crimped with standard tooling.

Designed specifically with the broadcast installations in mind, the Argosy 1RU rack-mountable fibre cable tray comes with adjustable rack ears enabling recessing up to 125mm; the slam locks provide secure locking and easy access to the tray when rack mounted. The tray is suitable for patch cables, pre-term installations, splice or mixed and is supplied complete with loaded adaptors, cable management, splice bridge and ident strip.

“We are excited to be attending the BES show in New Delhi again in January 2014, as the show has proven to be the ideal platform to display our latest products and to network with existing clients — while also providing the opportunity to establish new contacts and monitor market trends in India,” said Bob Clark, director at Argosy.

Visitors to the Argosy stand at BES New Delhi 2014 will also see a range of HD infrastructure products including, SMPTE cable assemblies, a collection of video, audio and power cables, connectors, rack systems as well as an array of video accessories.
