With over 30 years in the industry, Meriam held global in-house marketing roles at SISLink (previously part of Satellite Information Services) and Lightworks Editing Systems. She headed up EMEA marketing communications for Tektronix, Grass Valley and for Thomson Broadcast. She has lived and breathed the industry giving her the ability to see the world as her clients see it.
She set up MKM in 2004 to provide a more personal service for broadcast and media technology companies, with every piece of work founded on a deep understanding of the industry, the client, the product and the goals.
Meriam has strong links with the global M&E media and is attuned to the cultural nuances in working across the different countries particularly those in the Middle East. She speaks Arabic.
Meriam has excellent writing skills and is an eagle-eyed editor, determined that copy should be as good as possible before the client sees it, and perfect by the time it is released to the press.
Meriam is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR).
