Monica is a bilingual (French/English) freelance journalist and copywriter who has been ‘in tech’ for over 15 years. She first held a number of marketing management positions in the IT industry, at one point working for IBM and its wider network of partners. Soon afterwards Monica joined the broadcast industry, where she handled the in-house PR efforts for Harris Broadcast Communications division (now Imagine Communications) in EMEA.
Fulfilling a lifelong career ambition, Monica took some time out to formally train as a journalist, rejoining the tech industry as a freelance journalist and marketing copywriter. She now regularly contributes to publications in the broadcast, pro AV, IT and retail technology sectors. She recently edited UK-based Retail Technology magazine and is a regular contributor to the IBC Daily and ISE Daily and other technology magazines.
As part of the MKM team, Monica combines her marketing experience with her industry knowledge and journalistic best practice to generate content that enables clients to maximise exposure for their corporate message to a variety of audiences in a clear and effective manner.
