Vualto, the global specialist in innovative content delivery and management for broadcasters and publishers, today announced it has partnered with Brightcove (NASDAQ: BCOV) to deliver highly tailored online video campaigns and initiatives to joint customers using the Brightcove Video Cloud online video platform.

“Vualto is uniquely positioned to deliver turnkey solutions, quickly and cost-effectively, that meet the real needs of our customers,” said Camilla Young, CEO of Vualto. “We have used Brightcove’s industry-leading technology in many of our projects, and our new formalised relationship as an official partner makes it easier and quicker for us to realise our customers’ requirements.”

Vualto take advantage of a number of key functions in the Video Cloud platform, including its excellent transcoding and delivery capabilities. In addition, Vualto also provides custom extensions that enhance Video Cloud, including the ability to support downloadable content with DRM, standalone upload tools, integration with existing content management systems (CMS), customised players with sophisticated management of subtitles and dynamic overlays, as well as video advertising insertion based on the VAST standard.

Vualto has implemented Brightcove Video Cloud in several major projects recently, including work for the British Forces Broadcasting Service (BFBS) and Video Arts, the leading provider of training films. Video Arts turned to Vualto when they needed to establish an online, on-demand video service. Using the Video Cloud platform enabled Vualto to implement tracking and analysis functionality, allowing the customers of Video Arts to manage their own training requirements and check the progress of their staff, whatever platform they were using to view modules.

“Vualto has successfully built and implemented a range of exciting video initiatives using the Video Cloud platform,” said Cassandra Zuffante, Director of Alliances for Northern and Central Europe at Brightcove. “We are excited to partner with Vualto and enable the company to build innovative video experiences faster and with better functionality for a range of customers in the future.”
