[10 March 2016]

Dejero, an innovator in cloud-managed solutions for the transport of live video across challenging IP networks, will feature the latest developments in its IP connectivity solutions for electronic newsgathering (ENG) and remote broadcasting at NAB Show 2016 (Las Vegas, 18 – 21 April, booth N2918).

Dejero’s LIVE+ platform simplifies the adoption of IP and cloud technology for video transport between remote or mobile locations. The unique Dejero approach bonds all available networks, including 3G/4G/LTE cellular, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, or BGAN or Ka-band satellite, to deliver high–quality, low–latency video.

At NAB Show 2016, Dejero will feature its interoperability with leading video production and content management systems. To simplify the end-to-end news workflow, Dejero and Grass Valley are collaborating to incorporate functionality of Dejero’s LIVE+ Control into Grass Valley’s GV STRATUS platform, giving operators the ability to access, manage, and assign content from Dejero transmitters within a single window. This interoperability improves efficiency and saves time in the highly competitive news environment.

Also featured at NAB Show will be LIVE+ Multipoint, Dejero’s solution for cloud-based sharing and exchange of live content. Through a single highly scalable and flexible system, content from virtually anywhere is simultaneously delivered to multiple stations over standard IP networks, retaining HD quality with low latency. A simple yet powerful user interface allows an operator to filter, monitor, and route the content from a single source to many destinations around the globe.

“We are widely seen as an innovator in cloud-managed solutions that simplify the transport of live video across challenging IP networks,” said Brian Cram, CEO of Dejero. “At NAB Show this year, our focus will be on how this remarkable technology can be implemented in the real day-to-day business of gathering news and covering live events from remote locations.”

“The industry has heard vague talk about ‘IP’ and ‘the cloud’ over the last few years and what it means for broadcasters,” Cram added. “We are demonstrating how we have made these concepts reality by providing broadcasters with the tools that help them do their jobs better, faster, more cost-effectively, and without compromising quality and immediacy. We will also be showing – through our partnership with Grass Valley – how our technologies can be integrated with other innovators to create best-of-breed solutions that are desired by broadcasters.”

Dejero will also be demonstrating enhancements to its LIVE+ Core Software, which powers its transmitters, servers, and industry-leading smartphone and notebook apps that provide broadcasters with more options for sourcing content. Mobile and rack-mounted transmitters will also be showcased, including LIVE+ EnGo, its compact camera-mounted or wearable transmitter that delivers exceptional picture quality with low latency, even in the most challenging network conditions.

These and other Dejero products will be demonstrated at booth N2918 in the North Hall at NAB Show 2016.
