Peter Postma, managing director, FilmLight US commented, “Key Code Media’s expertise in the market, from the boutique edit houses to the major broadcasters, will allow us to reach new customers who value Baselight’s extensive color tools and have not yet had the chance to experiment with Baselight Editions.”

Key Code Media consults, supports and sells digital media communication systems. The company has offices in Burbank, Santa Monica, San Francisco, Irvine, Las Vegas, and Seattle and recently expanded to the Midwest with a new office in Chicago and Detroit.

Mike Cavanagh, president, Key Code Media added, “I see our clients getting a good portion of their color work done in Avid versus exporting to other grading systems. The fluid integration between Baselight and Avid Media Composer and Symphony enable our clients to be more productive. This allows them to leverage the right tool for the proper task while maintaining unprecedented real-time media compatibility.

“For example, Baselight’s colour tracking module is a major differentiator from the Avid Media Composer and Symphony toolsets.  And when you add support for the Avid Artist Color and Tangent panels, we highly recommend any finishing team to check out Baselight for Avid.”

Key Code Media complements the growing network of Baselight Editions resellers across the Americas including CineSys, New Media Hollywood, AMTEC and PSK Engenharia.

The Baselight Editions range includes – Baselight for FCP; Baselight for NUKE and Baselight for Avid (Mac|Windows).
