FilmLight will be partnering with MediaCloud at MediaTech 2013 to demonstrate how its award-winning colour grading and colour management solutions can provide a ‘colour pipeline’ at every stage of production through to post-production. The show takes place in Johannesburg from 17-19 July (stand E27).
Leading the products on display will be FilmLight’s new Baselight ONE deskside grading system and Slate control panel. Introduced at NAB, Baselight ONE is a diskless, 4U tower system with the full Baselight creative toolset, and a 2TB solid-state internal cache that guarantees impressive processing performance.
Slate — FilmLight’s new compact grading control panel — is designed with both Baselight and Baselight Editions in mind. It draws on the success of the revolutionary Blackboard 2 panel, and retains all the quality, precision and ergonomic convenience but in a smaller form factor and at a lower price point.
Also on display will be Baselight Editions, which puts the creative power of Baselight inside Avid (MAC|Windows), Final Cut Pro 7 and NUKE systems.
Attendees will also be able to see the latest version of FLIP, the real time on-set preview system. FLIP takes away the guesswork of digital cinematography, applying colour correction on-set so you know exactly what you have shot.
MediaTech is taking place at the Coca-Cola Dome in Johannesburg.
