MKM Marketing Communications is boosting its industry-specific capabilities with the appointment of broadcast technology PR and marketing specialist Susie Haldar.  Susie joins the growing company as senior PR account manager.

With more than 18 years industry experience, Haldar brings in-depth knowledge of the broadcast technology market, along with a strong grasp of commercial market trends and forecasts. She has an extensive network of contacts including industry press, technology innovators, manufacturers, industry bodies and broadcasters.

Haldar has previously specialised in bringing PR in-house, having held senior PR and marketing positions with broadcast manufacturers and systems integrators including Miranda Technologies, Evertz Microsystems, TSL Products, TSL Systems, and most recently at BroadStream Solutions.

As a trained journalist, specialising in broadcast journalism, Haldar gained her Bachelor of Arts degree in the late 1990s.  She entered the industry at the point of transition from analogue to digital and appreciates the ongoing progression of broadcast technology, including the current migration of traditional hardware solutions to the software-defined, IP-centric environment.  The continuing fast-paced technological evolution keeps her keenly engaged with the market, she says.
