Latest entry-level colour management solutions on display in Colombia from 31 July – 1 August
In association with its local partner, Naska Digital, FilmLight will be demonstrating its entry-level colour grading software and colour management systems at TecnoTelevisión 2013, taking place in Colombia from 31 July – 1 August 2013 (stand 34).
Leading the products on display will be FilmLight’s new Baselight ONE deskside grading system. Introduced at NAB, Baselight ONE is a diskless, 4U tower system with the full Baselight creative toolset, and a 2TB solid-state internal cache that guarantees impressive processing performance.
Attendees will also be able to see Baselight Editions, which puts the creative power of the Baselight grading toolset, as well as support for the new Slate control panel, inside Avid (MAC|Windows), Final Cut Pro 7 and NUKE systems.
Alongside The Foundry, FilmLight will be running joint presentations and demos of Baselight for NUKE, the first showing of the plugin since NAB. With a single Baselight for NUKE node users can apply several separate grading layers and all grading data can be seamlessly exchanged between Baselight for NUKE and a full Baselight system. Truelight, FilmLight’s colour management system, is also built in, allowing VFX artists to accurately preview fully graded shots without any need for rendered material from the grading suite.
Baselight for NUKE and full Baselight systems can also share a common database, allowing changes to the grade to be reflected immediately within the NUKE workstation.
TecnoTelevisión is taking place at Corferias, Bogotá, Colombia and FilmLight will be present on the Naska Digital booth (34).
