NAB Microsoft Booth SL6716

Hosted on Microsoft Azure virtual post production desktop provides collaborative editing, versioning, VFX rendering and other processor-intensive operations

While others talk about concepts for the cloud, Support Partners will be showing practical and proven hybrid cloud production workflows. Join us at NAB 2019 (8th – 11th of April) at the Microsoft booth (SL 6716) to learn more about these real world solutions.

Built on Azure GPU instances and Azure Batch, alongside Microsoft Video Indexer, Support Partners solution delivers high-performance production in the cloud with intelligence and minimal latency.

Support Partners will also show how Teradici’s PC over IP technology can achieve the highest performance even in demanding applications such as graphics, using “zero clients” – effectively KVM to the cloud providing very low-cost access to vast computing resources. Including, for the first time, an “over the shoulder” cloud solution allowing remote creatives to view a cloud desktop while outputting a broadcast signal to a different location.

“What media and production companies need today is to produce and deliver new content, often with international co-productions, and get it to market as quickly as possible,” said Harry Grinling, CEO at Support Partners. “At NAB we will be showing how we can build custom workflows that are extremely cost-effective and very agile, and which provides collaborative editing, versioning, VFX rendering and all the other processor-intensive operations.”

Support Partners is a leading consultancy providing guidance to the world’s largest media organisations in the broadcast, advertising and publishing industries. It specialises in developing tailored, practical and innovative workflows that reduce hardware spend, increase throughput and bring operational agility.

“Cloud is one of the hot topics of our time,” concluded Harry. “What we bring to the table is real-world experience in implementing cloud and hybrid solutions that really deliver for our customers. We look forward to sharing our experiences at NAB2019.”
